He also has a Masters of Music Education degree from Northern State University. Mr. Meiers is currently the Director of Bands for Minot High School in Minot, ND. He is also the director for the Magi Drumline in Minot, ND and directs the Drumline at the International Music Camp located in the International Peace Gardens. In 2014 the Stanley High School band (under the direction of Meiers) received the North Dakota Governor’s Band award. In 2023 Mr. Meiers received the “Instructional Performance Award” at Minot Public Schools. Meiers is an avid performer of the percussion arts in and around the Minot area.
